Get excited about Cadillac's first three-row crossover! The 2020 Cadillac XT6 is an all-new model for the popular automaker, proving that there's room for the luxury and power that Cadillac provides. Unlike the truck-based Escalade, the new XT6 has a sedan chassis, making it smaller, lighter, and more maneuverable than larger models. The new third-row seat is roomier than expected, with second-row seats that easily slide forward, and easy to get in and out of. With an impressive list of standard features, a powerful engine, and a hushed, comfortable cabin, the 2020 Cadillac XT6 lives up to drivers' expectations. Ready for a test drive? The new XT6 comes in Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels.
Both trim levels of the new XT6 come with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that pumps out 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. While Premium Luxury comes with front-wheel-drive, all-wheel drive is optional. Sport trims have all-wheel drive.
This is a Cadillac, so drivers can expect a lot. Standard features include a hands-free liftgate, heated front seats, a sunroof, heated steering wheel, six USB ports, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi connection, a wireless device charge pad, and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
This luxury SUV gets 17 miles per gallon in the city and 24 on the highway.
There are several safety features with the XT6, including automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning and lane keeping assist, a safety alert seat, and parking sensors. Drivers also get a Rear Vision Camera, which fills the rearview mirror with a real-time image from a rear-mounted camera.
The third row is comfortable and convenient, but does effect the available cargo space. With all seats up and functional, cargo space is 12.6 cubic feet. With the second and third rows of seats folded, cargo space opens to 78.7 cubic feet, so there's space when drivers need it.
Experts say that Premium Luxury is the best bang for the buck when it comes to the new XT6. There's plenty of tech and features already, and everything extra that comes on the Sport - such as towing features and all-wheel drive - can be purchased as an option.
The price points range from $52,695 to $57,095 depending on trim package and options.
