Diapers for Toddlers

Some parents have put a diaper on backward. Some have dealt with blowouts, leaks more like waterfalls than leaks and the baby yanking his diaper off to show you the product. Firstly, the purpose of a diaper is to catch the baby’s product, because he can’t do it himself quite yet. Secondly, the garment should do its job with a minimum of material and a maximum of quality. Thirdly, the babe should not suffer rashes from non-wicking materials nor from his own product. Knowing that the garment should do all this plus look stylish and not unnecessarily fill out the kid’s clothing, diaper companies are now reaching for innovation and the most natural materials for the job. The top three diapers for 2017 are Pampers Cruisers sizes 3 to 7, Huggies Diaper pants and Target brand's Up and Ups, Size 4.

  1. Are the materials in pampers safe for my toddler?

  2. Are these diapers a snug fit?
    Reply

Babies come in different sizes and shapes. Diapers should accommodate this fact. Pampers Cruisers takes into account bladders that are growing, as well as toddlers who now sleep through the night (we are hoping for you). Make sure your toddler is well inside the size range of the diapers used. Ensure the waist and leg openings are snug. Also check that the leg cuffs are outside the diaper. If they’re inside, leakage will occur.

  3. Why should I choose huggies over diaper pants?
    Reply

Twelve hours of protection in three separate ways gives parents peace of mind. Leak lock, gentle absorb liner for runny messes and a pocket built into the back waistband all mean more time between changes and less mess when changes are required.

  4. What about baby's delicate skin?
    Reply

Inside a snugly hugging fit, baby’s skin is kept healthy using the gentlest wicking materials along with instantly absorbing blue speed dry layer. The ultimate protection for baby’s delicate skin is our air fresh cover, which allows air to circulate both in and outside the diaper.

  5. What else should I know about Huggies?
    Reply

While baby is toddling now and won’t need it, Huggies provides relief for umbilical cords not yet healed. However, “outie” belly buttons might not be irritated with such an innovation. Huggies Little Movers Diaper pants pull up just like underwear, but absorb and protect just like a diaper. With sides that stretch, the pants move with the toddler but still protect like a champ.

  6. Are Target's brand diapers different than other name-brand products?
    Reply

Target's diapers use no bleaches, chlorine nor latex or fragrances, petroleum or parabens. The outside cover of the diaper breathes, wicking and channeling keeps wetness away from your toddler, a wetness strip as well as snugly fitting elastic at waist and legs. Most all diapers for toddlers contain these innovations; you'll pay less for store brands, though. As store brands go, Target isn't bad.

  7. How well do Target's diapers fit?
    Reply

Although there are dozens of reviews online, almost none address the fit. Mom forums address leakage and sleeping through the night messes more than fit. However, you'll find the fit much like other brands. If they didn't fit well, they wouldn't sell.

  8. What innovations are built into pampers?
    Reply

Pampers Cruisers contain three absorbing layers, but sacrifice wetness strips for pretty near no leakage. Parents no longer need pick up the child and sniff nor insert a finger to ascertain if there is product. Better fit around the legs and waist complete the innovations.
