While the 2019 Silverado is 1.6 inches longer with an extended wheelbase, it weighs 450 pounds less overall than in previous years. While there have been significant changes with the 1500 model, the Silverado 2500HD and Silverado 3500HD heavy-duty models are largely the same as the 2018 model year with only a few small changes and updates.
