  1. Are there any carriers currently using 5G?
    Reply

Verizon is one carrier that claims to offer 5G service. However, it's a nonstandard form of the 5G network, so whether or not, it is actually 5G is up for debate. Currently it is only offered for its home service, but with the release of phones like the Samsung S10, that is about to change. So, expect 5G mobile phones from Verizon as early as this year. Verizon will offer the Samsung Beyond X and the Beyond Bolt - two versions of the Samsung Galaxy S10. Both phones will offer 5G service, and presumably a 5G Galaxy Note 10 could be released this year as well.
