The Santa Fe ships with a stock 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out 185 horsepower. Upper trims can be upgraded with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that makes 232 horsepower, and there is also a new 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine that makes 200 horsepower.
The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe can be upgraded with the Hyundai Safe Exit Assist System. This system scans the exterior of the vehicle for oncoming objects when parked.
