The new 2018 Toyota Tacoma is available in six trims: the SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited and TRD Pro. The TRD Pro has replaced the Limited trim as the range-topping selection.
The 2018 Tacoma SR and SR5 are the two entry-level trims. The SR's equipment list includes a rearview camera, cloth seats, a tilt and telescoping steering wheel, 16-inch steel wheels, a composite bed and more. The SR5 builds on that list with foglights, upgradable alloy wheels, sliding rear privacy glass, a charcoal grille, a chrome rear bumper, remote keyless entry and more.
The Toyota Tundra SR and SR5 trims offer good value. The SR has a damped tailgate, Bluetooth compatibility, a 6.1-inch touchscreen interface, heated mirrors, 18-inch steel wheels, a rearview camera and more. The SR5 adds foglights, a larger touchscreen, a navigation app, satellite radio and other perks.
The Limited and TRD Pro are the Tacoma's best trims. The Limited is a crew cab pickup with 18-inch wheels and low-profile tires, featuring various upgrades to improve its off-road handling. The TRD Pro is also a crew cab, and it separates itself with custom styling enhancements and better off-road shocks. These trims are also loaded with luxury features such as navigation, leather upholstery, heated seats, automated climate control and more.
The Limited trim builds on the SR5 with automatic headlights, alloy wheels automated climate control, a navigation system and more. The Platinum trim gets custom exterior styling, a sunroof, heated and ventilated seats and more.
The new Toyota Tundra is available in four trim levels: The SR, SR5, Limited and Platinum trims.
The Tundra features two different engines. The first is a 4.6-liter V8 that generates 310 horsepower and 327 pound-feet of torque. The other option is a 5.7-liter V8 that pumps out 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque.
The new Tacoma's base engine is a 2.7-liter four-cylinder power plant that makes 159 horsepower. The TRD Sport upgrades to a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 278 horsepower.
