With the G80 3.3T Sport, this luxurious sedan gets a turbocharged 3.3-liter V6 engine that pumps out 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. These three sedans are easily among the most powerful new luxury cars of 2018. The Volvo S90 T5 models get turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines that put out 250 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while T6 models get supercharged and turbocharged engines that create 316 hp and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. The plug-in T8 adds an electric motor to the T6's engine for 400 total horses. The Audi A6 gets a base turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out 252 hp and 273 lb.-ft. of torque, and the 3.0T trim gets a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 that makes 340 hp and 325 lb.-ft. of torque. Last, the base G80 gets a 3.8-liter V6 with 311 hp and 293 lb.-ft. of torque, and the new 3.3T Sport trim gets a 3.3-liter V6 that makes 365 hp and 376 lb.-ft. of torque. The G80's most powerful engine is on the 5.0 Ultimate trim -- it gets a 5.0-liter V8 that makes 420 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque.
The Volvo S90 sedan is larger than in previous model years, making it one of the most comfortable full-size luxury sedans of the 2018 model year. That's because the S90 was revised with the longer wheelbase used in international markets. S90 buyers can also opt for a T8 plug-in hybrid powertrain for the new model year.
